soon-to-be-hot song of the season comes from Mrs. Nick Cannon, who
wants to know, like, "Why you so obsessed with me?" The lead single off
Mariah's forthcoming "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" (expected release
date: Aug. 25) is a crunk-flavored query into the mind of a borderline
stalker who fronts like he's all up in Carey's bedroom, when really, if
he were the last man on earth, he "still couldn't get this." Sorry,
unnamed dude (who could be Eminem), but Mimi "can see right through you
like you're bathin' in Windex." With help from Auto-Tune and beat
wizards Tricky and The-Dream, Carey's musical stiff-arm ends with some
vocal acrobatics to let us know she's still got it. Expect to get
"Obsessed" this summer. |
